DEA Agent Tyler Rockwell is the descendant of a long line of lawmen, but he’s also the inheritor of a family legacy that’s a little… unique. Why? He’s invincible, but there’s a catch.
 
Like his father and grandfather before him, he’s the benefactor of a blessing that’s been passed on for centuries, but carried with it its own sacrifice, or temptation to be overcome. For Tyler ’s father during Vietnam – no drugs. For his grandfather during WWII – no tobacco. For his great grandfather during prohibition – no alcohol. So what’s Tyler ’s temptation, his great weakness to resist? Yep, no sex outside of marriage – he must be chaste for the protection, the blessing to work.
 
As Tyler travels home his chance meeting with the exotic and mysterious Eva Flora sends him reeling. She’s witty, funny, gorgeous, and completely irresistible. After a failed marriage and multiple disappointments since, he can’t help but fall for this woman he barely knows, and can barely resist. Eva is within striking distance of claiming his heart, but so are the enemies of his past, including Tony “The Rose”, the leader of a drug ring intent on eliminating his top rival any way he can.  
 
Before Tyler can catch his breath, he’s dodging bullets, dodging advances from the woman he loves, and questioning everything he knows. Does he stay true to the family legacy to pass the test but risk losing the girl of his dreams?  Or does he give into passion, and take the chance the next bullet might have his name on it?  Temptation can be a killer.
